The leader of Super Junior, Leeteuk, who never loses his smiles revealed his childhood story.

MBC Special 'Super Junior Dreams of K-POP Legend!' aired on April 27 featured Super Junior holding their concert in Paris, France.

Leeteuk shared, "I doubted a lot if I really could debut, if I could succeed in this field as went through 5 long years of training. Why am I so unfortunate? If I was born in a better, richer family, I would've been happier," and revealed that he always chased after happiness.

When he was asked of his situation before his debut, he started tearing and at the end bawled, not being able to hold in his tears. Leeteuk said, "I've never talked about this before..." and revealed that his parents were not on good terms.

He said, "My parents fought a lot and I got beat up a lot too. I was so stressed about that since elementary school. I was scared of my dad, and I hated him."

He continued, "That's why while I was being trained I had to keep asking myself 'Is this really what I want?', and I wanted to succeed as quickly as I can."
