The Chromebook 11 is certainly one of the more affordable laptops we have today, and Toshiba's version is now available to order in the US.  

According to a report by Android Authority, the device can now be ordered from Amazon in the US for $279.99, and will be shipped in the next 2 or 3 weeks. 

While Toshiba's Chromebook is based on the 11-incher version which has been released by Google and HP, it packs a larger 13.3-inch screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768. Fortunately, the PC manufacturer managed to keep the pricing low in spite the larger display. 

Other specs of the Toshiba Chromebook include a Haswell-edition Celeron 2955U CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a full-sized HDMI port, an SDX card reader, and a battery that is claimed to run for 9 hours. 

While the Toshiba-made Chromebook is already available in the US, the laptop would hit the UK market a little bit later, February 10th to be exact.
