Upcoming Sony Phones 2014: Xperia Sirius Rumored To Capture 60fps 1080p Clips, 15.5MP Resolution Images

More than a month into the year and we already see a number of upcoming Sony phones for 2014, some of which include the Xperia Z1 Compact, the Xperia E1, and the T2 Ultra.

However, if you have been checking out rumor reports lately, you would have surely noticed the Xperia Sirius. Bearing the model number D6503, the upcoming Sony phone already promises to be one of the top Android handsets given its set of rumored specs.

Now, a new report claims that we have more things to expect from the unannounced device.

According to several reports from GSM Arena and Android Authority, a couple of screenshots of the device revealed that it is able to capture 15.5MP resolution images with a 16:9 ratio. It is also capable of recording videos at an impressive 60fps (frames per second) at 1080p resolution.

If that says anything, it's that the Sony Xperia Sirius is one heck of a camera and videophone.

Aside from those alleged specs, other rumored features include a 5.2-inch display with Full HD resolution, a 2.3GHz Qualcomm MSM8974AB CPU, 3GB of RAM, Adreno 330, and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

Previous reports are pointing to a possible announcement at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona later this month.
