Kim Hyun Joong Collaborates with B'z for New Japanese Single 'Heat'

Kim Hyun Joong wrapped up the recording of his new album together with famous Japanese musician B’z.

KeyEast Entertainment stated, “Kim Hyun Joong concluded the recording of the new song ‘HEAT’ received from B’z, the song is to be included in his second Japanese single, which will release in July.”

Last November during a press conference for his Japan tour, he mentioned B’z to be his favorite artists in Japan. Through his Japanese agency, Universal Music, he requested a song from B’z which the duo gladly accepted.

B’z is one of Japan’s most popular musicians the duo debuted in 1988 and has set a record for topping the Oricon chart 46 times. The song is garnering much attention as this is the first for band members Takahiro Matsumoto and Koshi Inaba to produce a song other than for B’z.

Kim Hyun Joong said, "It is an honor to work with B’z, my favorite artist. I really enjoyed working with B’z to record ‘HEAT’ with their help and guidance. Please show me your love and support as I will come back with a great completed album.”

Kim Hyun Joong is preparing to kick off his ‘Fan Meeting Tour 2012’ in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China.
