Eva Mendes pregnant? That's what the rumors were saying last week. But it's not true. On "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Eva told Ellen that she is not pregnant. DeGeneres still wanted to know if Mendes is having a boy or a girl.

Eva Mendes also made fun of those rumors that she was splitting with Ryan Gosling. As a matter of fact, Mendes plans to spend Valentine's Day watching the Gosling tearjerker film "The Notebook." There will be tears.

Mendes explained that the baby rumors started because of airport security. Earlier this month, Eva opted for a pat-down instead of going through the full-body scanner at LAX airport. She said "It all started because I didn't want to go through the scanners at the airport. You know, those X-ray scanners, which are really creepy."

Mendes told Ellen DeGeneres "They basically see you naked, right? And not only that, but there's a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out. I always ask for a personal pat-down. I don't mean in person, I meant in private because they can take you. Ladies, I want you to know that they can take you in private, they can take you into an area."

DeGeneres wouldn't drop it, "Alright, do you want to say is it a boy or a girl you're pregnant with?"

Eva didn't take the opportunity to announce the sex of the child she's not pregnant with on Ellen's show.

Mendes and Gosling started dating in 2011 after they met while filming the movie "The Place Beyond the Pines." Breakup rumors started when E! News reported that they haven't not been seen together since October.
