Bigfoot Hunter Rolls Out `I Told You So’ Tour; Skips Stops; He Has Two Sasquatch Now; Bigfoot Hoaxer Doesn’t Care If You Believe Him Or Not

Bigfoot hunter and admitted hoaxer Rick Dyer is taking the remains of what he says is a real Sasquatch he shot on tour. The Bigfoot hunter is rolling out the carcass of what would be an endangered species if it were true.

Rick Dyer of San Antonio, Texas, claims he shot Bigfoot outside of the Alamo City. Dyer said he shot it after being in the woods only six days and he took footage of it on his cellphone before he shot it. According to one report, quoting a Phoenix television station, Dyer claims he shot two that same day in 2012.

Dyer keeps the body of Bigfoot inside a glass case inside his trailer.

Bigfoot Hunter Rick Dyer calls his "I Told You So" Bigfoot viewing tour a redemption event because Dyer was caught in a lie back in 2008 when he pulled a bigfoot hoax in Georgia. Dyer and his friend Matt Whitten claimed they found a dead Bigfoot body in Georgia in 2008, but admitted it was a hoax when the "body" of one of the creatures turned out to be a rubber suit.

The Bigfoot tour started in Texas. Rick Dyer has an eight-foot carcass he's toting around that he says is a bigfoot creature he shot in September 2012. Dyer said the creature weighed almost 800 pounds when he killed it. Bigfoot's feet measure about 13 inches long. Dyer nicknamed his alleged Bigfoot carcass, "Hank."

Dyer says the Sasquatch is real and will help clear his name.

Bigfoot hunter and admitted hoaxer Rick Dyer told people assembled at the Gun and Knife Show at Love Civic Center that he doesn't care if anyone believes him or not.

But I gotta say, that's pretty good odds. It's tough to get a glimpse of one bigfoot and here is an admitted hoaxer who says, hey, the first one was a hoax, but here, this, is the real bigfoot. Really. Dyer told the media "I was on a mission to find him because of what happened in 2008."

Sharon Hill, owner of doubtfulnews.com, said "We have the promise of a known hoaxer and he's trying to make money off of this. Even the Bigfoot community is doubtful."

On Monday Dyer took to YouTube to cancel a stop in Phoenix, saying "Due to a better opportunity, (which) arose down in Texas, we had to make that sacrifice."

The Bigfoot exhibit was scheduled to coincide with the International UFO Congress Conference and Film Festival.

Dyer told The Huffington Post "There is a large fan base in Phoenix, and everybody was looking forward to us coming. But things happened and we were going to go to the UFO Congress and on Friday, they said they were real excited and couldn't wait for us to come."

Maureen Elsberry, a co-organizer of the UFO Congress and co-investigator of the Science Channel's "Uncovering Aliens" said "We talked with them to see whether or not they could have table space at our event to show off Hank, their alleged Bigfoot character, and we decided that, because [Dyer] was a known hoaxer in the past, and we're a credible organization, we really did not want to associate with a situation that could very easily be another hoax. We basically just told them 'no thank you,' we don't want that at the event. We have a full program. We have lots of people here. We just decided to not have them here."

Dyer said. "It was like a bunch of confusion. I don't know what happened in Phoenix. I wanted to go to Phoenix. If we get a venue in Phoenix, we will be happy to go back there. We love Phoenix. The only reason we're doing this tour is for me to bring Hank to the people, and that's it. I just hate to disappoint the people that I'm trying to show it to."

Elsberry told the Huffington Post "Sure, people deserve a second chance, but if you look at the fact that he's trying to profit off of this in sort of a circus sideshow, it really does not look very favorably on being a credible situation, and the fact that he claims they're doing all these DNA tests -- well, it's been two years, allegedly. Where are the results of this DNA test?"

Dyer claimed that he sent Bigfoot DNA samples for analysis, but nothing's come back from the unnamed university yet.
