The makers of "M! Countdown" made an official statement, revealing Jung Joon Young and Ahn Jae Hyun's appointment as the new MCs.

Jung Joon Young, who debuted through Mnet's audition program "Superstar K4", is the rising "blue chip" of variety shows with his particular charm.

Model-turned-actor Ahn Jae Hyun made his face known through his role as Jun Ji Hyun's brother in SBS drama "My Love from the Star". Chemistry between the two men with different charms is already anticipated eagerly by fans.

The makers of "M! Countdown" also explained their rationale for the casting, stating that Jung Joon Young's experience in hosting a radio show will be a great asset to the program, as will his foreign language skills.

Ahn Jae Hyun is also expected to be a proficient MC, demonstrated through his experience as a host on a fashion TV program. "M! Countdown" expressed high expectations and hope of a more variant program with implementation of the two MCs.

Meanwhile, the all-new "M! Countdown" airs on the 27th.
