Girls' Generation States: “We Couldn't Wait to Come Back!”
Girls' Generation expressed their excitement at revealing their new song.
In an interview held before their comeback stage on Mnet "M! Countdown", Girls' Generation stated: "We felt bad that we delayed out comeback date. We couldn't wait to show everyone our new song!"
Girls' Generation had pushed back their comeback date due to destroyed data in the music video; the song was released first on the 24th.
About their choreography revealed in the music video, Girls' Generation claimed: "There's definitely a mannish, boyish component in our new song; the choreography involves a lot of point moves such as touching our (neck) ties, buttoning shirts, etc. Please look forward to our new song!"
Girls' Generation also expressed their hopes concerning comeback: "Although topping charts and being #1 is important as well, we wish to continue the legacy of Girls' Generation, enjoy our performances, and improving our music style as a team".
Concluding the interview, Girls' Generation asked the support of fans, "We're finally back with "Mr. Mr."! Please give us your love. This is the girls' generation!"
