Hip Hop Group Troy Debuts on 'M Countdown'

"Who in the world are they?"

Hip-hop group Troy debuted on Mnet's "M Countdown" on the 13th. With 16 dancers on the stage, Troy performed their debut song "Green Light", giving a cheerful musical-like stage.

"Green Light" is produced by Bumkey and Keeproots, who produced music for Dynamic Duo, Leessang, and Eun Ji Won; the song is an upbeat punk hip-hop-style song based on 60s-style Brazilian jazz.

The fancy stage attire, Bumkey's soulful voice, Kanto's charming rap, and Jaewoong and Changwoo's first but natural performance gave off a club-like atmosphere fit for a sexy hip-hop group.

On their debut stage, Troy demonstrated perfect teamwork: Bumkey's emotion-filled voice, Kanto, Jaewoong, and Changwoo's heavyset rap were pieced together to perfection.

They seemed as if they were laid-back, enjoying the stage as if they were hanging out with friends.

Along with the music, Troy's stage styling was also notable: Bumkey's wild-patterned pants and red blazer, Kanto's pink clothes theme, and Jaewoong's navy suit showing off his model-like body truly made them fashionistas. Changwoo also wore gown-like outerwear with a stylish top hat.

According to sources, Changwoo was responsible for the styling of the members. Changwoo, having worked in fashion in the past, stepped up as Troy's style director to complete their new look.

Troy's debut stage involved 16 dancers to give present a musical-like stage. Their well-rehearsed choreography made the stage a very enthusiastic and flashy one.

Meanwhile, Troy's debut single "Green Light" will be released today through online music stores.
