Singer and actor Jaejoong will resume his acting career.

Jaejoong was cast as the main character for MBC's new drama "Triangle". After his last drama appearance in 2012's MBC "Time Sip Dr. Jin", Jaejoong had focused on his music career; he returns on set with "Triangle" after long deliberation.

MBC staff revealed that Jaejoong's agency responded positively to his drama appearance: "Jaejoong's agency and the makers of the drama met to discuss specifics last weekend".

Jaejoong becomes Lee Bum Soo and ZE:A member Siwan's brother in the drama; Jaejoong plays the role of the second brother who grew up in a gang; he is projected to show brotherly love throughout the course of the drama with first brother Lee Bum Soo, who becomes a detective, and the third brother Siwan, who is adopted into a rich family.

Staff claimed that Jaejoong has demonstrated talent in acting through "Time Slip Dr. Jin" and "Protect the Boss" - "Triangle" will serve as Jaejoong's opportunity to distinguish himself as a mature actor.

"Triangle" is the third collaboration of Choi Wan Gyu and Yoo Chul Yong after "All In" and "Swallow the Sun". It will illustrate the story of the three brothers who are reunited after living unaware of each others' presence for more than twenty years.

"Triangle" goes on air in May after the finale of "Empress Ki".
