LG G Pro 2 Release Date: Pricing For New LG Device Expected To Go Down As Galaxy S5 Release Approaches For Korean Market

LG G Pro 2 release date: While the Korean manufacturer's highest spec'd device has not hit the international market yet, it has already received a warm welcome in its home market.

In a report by GSM Arena, a Korean newspaper said that the G Pro 2 selling fast in Korea in spite the very steep price of KRW999,000 or about $927.

In fact, the LG representative interviewed claims that the selling rate of the latest handset is much better than that of the current flagship  model, the LG G2.

However, as the official release of Samsung's Galaxy S5 approaches, that rate may be affected if LG would not lower down costs.

In the report, the G Pro 2 pricing may go down to as low as around $800 in order to match the pricing of Samsung's Galaxy S5 16GB edition, which falls around $742.

It is important to note that the LG G Pro 2 has not even arrived to other markets aside from Korea so pricing for the international market may become even more difficult.

In case you have missed MWC, the G Pro 2 boasts a 5.9-inch screen with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.26GHz, Snapdragon 800 chipset, 3GB of RAM, and a 13MP camera that can shoot 4K videos.
