Girls’ Generation and 2NE1 girl group fans have been nominated in O Music Awards under the Fan Army FTW category.

‘O Music Awards’ is a new awards show that began in 2010 created by Viacom to honor music, technology and intersection between the two. The awards consist of 17 categories and ‘Fan Army FTW’ is given to the fans that show their most support for their artist.

This year’s O Music Awards has nominated fan groups of 2NE1 called Blackjacks and Girls’ Generations called Sones along with 10 other fans of artists including German rock band Tokio Hotel fans Aliens that received the award for the past 2 years.

Fans can login to Twitter or Facebook to start voting at O Music Awards official site. Voting period started on May 23 and will continue until June 27, 7:30PM EDT. Fans can be recognized as Super Fans for users who earn the most points by voting for their favorite nominees.

The awards this year will take place on June 27-28.
