Paulina Gretzky Golf Digest Cover Is Hot, Sexy and Revealing, But What’s Paulina Gretzky Doing On the Cover of Golf Digest? Women Golf Professionals Would Like to Know [VIDEO]

Paulina Gretzky Golf Digest Cover: Paulina Gretzky, the daughter of legendary hockey player Wayne Gretzky, is on the cover of the new Golf Digest magazine. Many LPGA players want to know why. Paulina Gretzky isn't a professional golfer, so why is she on Golf Magazine Cover? Because she is engaged PGA Tour star Dustin Johnson.

Golf Magazine doesn't see it that way. In a statement, Golf Digest Editor-in-Chief Jerry Tarde said "Sports figures, celebrities and models have appeared on Golf Digest covers since the magazine's beginning. Paulina ranks at the high end of the golf celebrity scene today, and she has a compelling story to tell. She also might get some new people interested in the game."

The May issue of Golf Digest is about fitness. Paulina Gretzky showed off her fit figure in a bikini top and matching leggings, a sports bra and yoga pants. The first Golf Digest fitness issue featured former pro-golfer Holly Sonders, who is the face of the Golf Channel.

Gretzky also demonstrates six exercises to improve your golf game and talks about her connections in the sports world. Gretzky and pro golfer Dustin Johnson got engaged in August 2013. Gretzky announced the news on Instagram saying "Never Been Happier @djohnsonpga."

Paulina Gretzky, is the daughter of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky and former actress Janet Jones Gretzky, and in the picture spread on the online version of Golf Digest, she explains she was a tomboy who always played sports, but the cover of the May issue of Golf Digest still annoys some female pro golfers.

Talking to reporters at the Kraft Nabisco Championship, Stacy Lewis, who is ranked number 3 in the world, said "It's frustrating for female golfers. It's the state of where we've always been. We don't get the respect for being the golfers we are. Obviously, Golf Digest is trying to sell magazines, but at the same time you like to see a little respect for the women's game."

A tablet edition of Golf Digest will be available April 8. The May issue of Golf Digest hits newsstands April 15.
