Arisa Yagi, the Japanese fashion model who began her "marriage" with SHINee's Key, addressed her infatuation with Key during her interview during the show.

When they first met, they prepared small gifts for each other, namely, macarons and a hand-baked cake. This earned the Key-Arisa couple the nickname of "Sweeties".

Arisa Yagi said that she was very satisfied with her partner, stating, "His first impression was indeed very shiny."

Key addressed his breakup with his last partner on the show, A Pink's Jung Eunji. He stated that Jung Eun Ji just told him goodbye and good luck.

"We Got Married: Global Edition" is a show were celebrities are matched together to be "married" for a brief period, usually 3-6 months at a time. It is a semi-reality program in that while the entire content of the show is reality, the premise of the show is entirely scripted. The "global edition" features SHINee's Key "marrying" Japanese fashion model Yagi Arisa and Super Junior's Kim Heechul marrying Taiwanese singer-actress Puff from Dream Girls.
