The members of SHINee have certainly been busy.  The popular SM Entertainment idol group, comprised of members Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and Taemin, are known for their contemporary R&B style of music and for all the additional appearances they make, even when not officially promoting anything.  

With a 2014 schedule that has "world tours and variety shows" written on it, here is a guide that will take you through what the group has been up to so far this year, and what upcoming events they have planned.

January 28, 2014

The first month of the year and 2014 kicked off with a rumor that Jonghyun was dating actress Lee Yu Bi.  Various media outlets had headlines explaining how the two knew each other and that their friendship grew into a romantic one. However, the rumors turned out to be false and the two revealed that they are just great friends.

February 24, 2014

To promote Korean tourism, the members had the honor of being ambassadors for the Seoul neighborhood of Gangnam. Now, when tourists visit the bustling, upscale area, they are greeted by each of the members' smiling faces plastered all around. Their happy faces also appear at the airport passenger terminals, as they greet and welcome visitors to Korea.

March 10, 2014

Toheart, an SM duo sub-unit, consists of SHINee's Key and his good friend Woohyun from the idol group INFINITE.  They released their anticipated music video, "Delicious"  last month and were received by hoards of excited fans.  

March 19, 2014

Key had further exciting news in March when he joined the cast of We Got Married - Global Edition.  He has been paired up with Japanese model Arisa Yagi in a fictitious marriage.  

The show started airing on April 15th, but Key and Arisa started promoting well ahead of time.  They did some photo shoots for Cosmopolitan and also had a separate wedding pictorial.

First week of April 2014

On April 4, 2014 SHINee launched their world tour, 'SHINee World III.'  

They first headed to Mexico where they were greeted by 8000 fans who applauded and screamed throughout the entire performance.  In addition to their hit singles, SHINee also sang their own version of the "Macarena," which the fans truly loved. Total of twenty-five songs were performed on that night.

The tour then continued into South America where SHINee held a concert in Santiago, Chile for a total of 8,500 fans. Things continued on to Buenos Aires, Argentina, the last stop in the Latin American leg of their world tour.

'SHINee World III' will pick back up again on May 11, 2014 when the group will travel to Taipei, Taiwan for more performances for their global fans.
