The Legend Of Korra Book 3 Villain Revealed By Bryan Konietzko: The Council Of Five, White Lotus, Or New Characters Amidst Release Date Rumors?

As "The Legend of Korra" Book 3 looms closer, co-creator Bryan Konietzko has uploaded a new photo that hints at the new villain for 'Change.'

"In color correction suites they have these cool scopes and mini monitors that look like something you’d find in a vintage submarine. Usually the patterns that appear on them are indiscernible, but if an image of a face is particularly clear and contrasty a ghostly visage will emerge," writes Konietzko on Tubmrl.

"Here is such an image appearing in the RGB parade on the waveform monitor of the Book 3 villain."

Currently, there are several theories as to who the new villain may be, based on the photo as well as the brief teaser trailer released earlier in the year.

Morgan Bannon of Avatar the Last Airbender Online believes the mysterious photo alludes the Council of Five.

The Council of Five is a group of generals from the Earth Kingdom Army in the "Avatar: The Last Airbender" era. It is not entirely clear whether such an entity still exists in "The Legend of Korra."

The other strong possibility is that "The Legend of Korra" Book 3 villain is the White Lotus.

This has already been alluded to in the teaser trailer, which shows Korra fighting individuals who look to be from the Order of the White Lotus, which is an ancient society who seeks to protect, train, and find each new Avatar.

What do you think "The Legend of Korra" Book 3 villain might be, according to the photo?
