‘The Last of Us’ PS4 Release Date: ‘Remastered’ Arriving On June 20 According To Various Retailers In North America

"The Last of Us" PS4 release date is set for June.

According to a post on GameSpot, some retailers in North America are posting that "The Last of US: Remastered," the PS4 remake of the highly successful survival horror game from Naught Dog, will be available on June 20. Reportedly,  the product page for "The Last of Us: Remastered" on Best Buy, Target and GameFly state that the upcoming PS4 game will be released on the 20th.

However, the Amazon listing still suggests that The Last of US: Remastered release date is set for December 31 of this year.

The post on GameSided mentioned that this rumored The Last of Us PS4 released date might just be a placeholder. However, it also noted that June 20 is the Friday after this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, which is an annual trade show for computer and video games.

However, since Naughty Dog and Sony has not yet made any statement regarding the official 'The Last of Us: Remastered' release date for the PS4 console, it is best for players to take this news with a grain of salt.

The Last of Us Remastered for PS4 is now available for pre-order for $60. According to Load The Game website, the PlayStation 4 version, running at 1080p will have higher resolution characters and it will feature director's commentary. Below are the pre-order bonuses for The Last of Us Remastered:
