Nexus 6 release date rumors are continuously emerging online.

Various possible Nexus 6 release dates are being reported online. A post on International Business Times suggested the possibility that Nexus 6 release date might happen either in June or November.

A post on Christian Today stated that Google Nexus 6 release date can be set for June, particularly on the 25^th or 26^th, as Google is expected to host its annual I/O Developers Conference event during those days in San Francisco.

However, this possible Nexus 6 release date contradicts the statement from Google VP, Sundar Pichai, who announced during the Mobile World Congress 2014 that no new Nexus smartphone model will arrive on the first half of 2014.

On the other hand, there are also reports saying that Nexus 6 might also launch in November, since its predecessor, the Nexus 5, was released on that month.

As for the Nexus 6 features and specs, Tech Cocktail predicted that the smartphone will be equipped with a rear camera of 18 to 20 MP, as well as an HDR mode. Moreover, the Nexus 6 might also come with Android 4.5 Lollypop, which is also expected to be unveiled during the upcoming Google event.

As for the Nexus 6 manufacturer, it has not been confirmed yet if LG will handle the production of the upcoming smartphone. LG was the one responsible for Google's last two Nexus smartphones. If LG will create the Nexus 6, tech fans can expect that the specs and features of the upcoming Google smartphone will be roughly based on the specifications of the LG G3.

Meanwhile, there are also grapevines suggesting that HTC or Motorola-Lenovo might create the Nexus 6 smartphone.
