Actors Kim Soo Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun along with singers Sung Si Kyung and Lyn, will be attending the China Samsung Galaxy S5 promotion event.

Although they wanted to cancel the event due to the tragedy happening in Korea, they found that it was hard to cancel this particular event.

Samsung stated on April 18, "We wanted to delay the event due to the tragedy in Korea, but because this was an event in China, we found that it was hard to cancel it."

The event will take place as announced and they revealed that there were no specific changes made to the event.

This Chinese promotion focuses on the popular drama, "My Love From The Stars" due to its huge popularity in China.

Although the actors and singers requested to cancel the event, the Chinese officials stated that it was hard for them to do so.

Kim Soo Hyun rose to stardom through his appearance in a TV drama Dream High, as he appeared as a country bumpkin who turned out to be a musical genius. Since then, he appeared in many hit TV dramas such as "Moon Embracing the Sun" and "My Love from the Star," and hit movies such as "the Thieves" and "Secretly, Greatly."

Jun Ji Hyun, also known as Gianna Jun, is an actress best known for her role in the romantic comedy movie, "My Sassy Girl," one of the highest grossing Korean comedies of all time. She also appeared in "Il Mare," "Windstruck," "the Thieves," and "the Berlin File." It is rumored that she played in integral role in casting Kim Soo Hyun in the opposite role of her in "My Love from the Star."

The recent ferry tragedy made a huge impact in the country of South Korea, as the whole nation is in mourning for the tragedy and is waiting in hope for survivors.
