Rain States Appearance in "Indian Summer" is Not Confirmed

Rain is reported to be contemplating joining the cast of "Indian Summer", directed by Lee Hyung Min, who offered Rain his first acting role in "Sangdoo, Let's Go to School".

Rain's sources stated that Rain has recently received an offer from the director for the male lead of the drama.

The drama is projected to air at the end of this year under the title, "Indian Summer".

Rain proved his strength as an actor through his role in "Sangdoo, Let's Go to School"; all attention gathered on whether Rain will choose to once again work with Director Lee Hyung Min.

Lee Hyung Min produced KBS2 mini series dramas such as, "Sangdoo, Let's Go To School," "the Queen of Snow," "I am Sorry, I Love You," and others. Through his dramas, actors like So Ji Sub and Lim Soo Jung became famous in Korea. Lee Hyung Min has many diehard fans in Korea, and is also known as one of the best directors in Japan.

CS Group, the production company of "Indian Sumer," said that the company is considering different actors and actresses to be casted to this mini series drama. Although the casting of Rain is not confirmed, he was offered this role as Rain is one of the actors the director recognizes as one of the best actors in Korea. This drama is expected to bring much interest from fans in Korea and elsewhere, as the cinematography and the producing ability of Lee Hyung Min is to shine through soon-to-be-casted hallyu stars.

Rain has been active in promoting his new album, "Rain Effect," that was released earlier this year. He is also starring in a new film alongside Bruce Willis and John Cusack called, "the Prince."

Rain is planning to finish up filming "the Prince" in New Orleans, and will also meet with producers in Hollywood regarding new film projects.
