‘Witch’s Romance’ Cancelled, ‘Grandpas Over Flowers’ And ‘Gap Dong’ Currently Being Debated

Cable channel tvN is currently mourning the Sewol ferry disaster, and has cancelled a majority of their dramas and entertainment programs, including "Witch's Romance" and "SNL Korea."

According to tvN on the 22nd, the drama "Witch's Romance" (21-22), entertainment program "SNL Korea" (26), sitcom "Potato Star" (21-24), "I Need Romance" (23), "Top Ten" (23), "Taxi" (24), "Bang Ja Jun" (24), and "Comedy Big League" (27) were all cancelled. All entertainment programs through the 24th are at an 'all stop.'

As of now, the April 25th broadcasts of "Grandpas Over Flowers" and "Gap Dong" have not yet been determined.

CJ E&M has not only cancelled tvN's shows, but also cable channel Mnet's "Wide Entertainment News" (21), XTM's "Homme" (22), Olive TV's "Olive Show" (22), "Share House" (23), "France Home" (24), "No Oven Desserts" (24), and "Delicious Ranking 19" (27). "Master Chef Korea 3," which was scheduled to air its first episode on the 19th has also been cancelled for now.

A CJ E&M rep stated, "We earnestly pray for the safe return of the Sewol ferry passengers. We will be holding discussions of the programs, and will reveal the rescheduled release dates of the entire lineup."
