Girls' Generation And SISTAR's Bora Reveal Their Diet Tips

We all know that K-Pop idols follow a strict dieting program in order to not gain weight.

Following a diet plan can be difficult so stars have found ways of eating healthy and enjoying their food without having to constantly stress about the fact that they have a restrictive menu.

Recently, the members of Girls' Generation and SISTAR's Bora shared what kinds of food they eat when they are dieting.

On the May 3rd episode of KBS 2TV's Human Condition, Kim Shin Young and Kim Young Hee went backstage and ran into Girls' Generation and SISTAR's Bora.

When Kim Shin Young and Kim Young Hee asked the members of Girls' Generation if they go more than five days without eating meat, Hyoyeon said, "Five days? Only five days? You should try to do it for fifty days." Seohyun then piped in with, "You should do it for five years."

The girls gave an extensive explanation of the menu they usually follow to monitor their weight.

The popular girl group listed, "Salad, beans, and tofu... We cook a tofu dish that's like meat... a bean-meat dish made by mashing beans together... There's also tofu steak. There's also vegetable rice paper rolls which Seohyun loves the most... You put mushrooms in it [in place of meat]."

Kim Shin Young and Kim Young Hee then went on to ask SISTAR's Bora the same question, but ended up getting a surprisingly different answer.

"I don't think I'll be of any help. I just eat everything. When I used to go on a diet, I would always eat just one meal at 5-6 pm and I wouldn't eat anything else," stated Bora.

She added, "I didn't even drink water because I felt like if even a little water goes in, I would gain weight. I thought that I had to have an empty stomach to lose weight. It's the wrong kind of diet. I also like rice more than noodles and bread."
