Singers continue to remember the Sewol ferry tragedy, even in their concerts.

Since the Sewol ferry sinking disaster happened on April 16th, the entire music industry fell into sorrow and sadness. They postponed their new songs and albums to mourn with the victims and their families, and even cancelled or postponed their solo concerts.

Two weeks since the incident, last April, some artists cautiously released new songs, mostly ballads, and gradually resumed revealing music videos. Concerts that were scheduled in advance for this month will most likely take place as planned. Of course, the mourning will continue even through the concerts.

Singer and actor Lim Chang Jung will be holding a solo concert titled '2014 Lim Chang Jung - Ordinary Song... Ordinary Melody...' on the 23rd and 24th at the Seoul Olympic Park SK Handball Arena.

Lim Chang Jung's side stated, "We were going to delay the concert due to the Sewol accident, but because of the waiting audience members and other reasons, the final decision was made to proceed as planned. Lim Chang Jung, as someone with two children, is greatly saddened for the victims of this accident and their families. At the concert he plans to have a memorial stage for the victims."

This is Lim Chang Jung's first ever nationwide concert tour in his 20 years since his debut. He will start in Seoul and go on to Jeonju, Incheon, Kwangju, Daegu, and Ilsan.

IU will also be expressing her mourning at her concert, which will take place from the 22nd through the 29th. All proceeds collected from the 29th through June 1st at the Seoul Sogang University Mary Hall concert will be donated.

IU's agency stated, "IU expressed her desire for the donation, and soon we will discuss exactly where and how the donation will be spent."

IU had been planning to open ticket sales on April 17th, but she decided to delay the date because of the Sewol tragedy.

Besides Lim Chang Jung and IU, other artists are also expected to hold concerts in May. They will each show their own way of mourning for the victims and their families during their concerts.
