Android 4.4.3 KitKat Release Rumors: Firmware Update For Samsung Galaxy S5 In The Works; S3 GT-I9300 Also Getting The Upgrade

Lots of rumors about Android 4.4.3 KitKat release have been circulating online and some of these involve Samsung Galaxy S5 And Galaxy S3.


Google has not yet made any comments about the grapevines regarding Android 4.4.3 KitKat release but the latest speculations suggest that the new firmware is arriving soon. Furthermore, according to a post on Gotta Be Mobile, Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy S5 is already "in the works."

Moreover, there is also a possibility that the international version of Samsung Galaxy S3, those units particularly bearing the model number GT-I9300, will get the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update. Some variants of Samsung Galaxy S3 are now beginning to receive the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update.

But according to a document leaked by a tipster posted on SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 may get the upcoming KitKat upgrade. Check out the list here.

The rumors about Android 4.4.3 KitKat release started weeks ago saying that the internet search giant is currently working on major bug fix for issues found on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. Reportedly, the Android 4.4.3 KitKat may enhance the performance of the smartphones and make them more stable but it will not bring in any new feature.

According to these rumors, the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update will roll out to various Nexus devices soon, such as the Nexus 4 , Nexus 7, Nexus 10 and Nexus 5.

Further reports about Android 4.4.3 KitKat update suggested that aside from the Nexus mobile devices, the firmware might also be available for Google Play Edition of various smartphones, such as the HTC One M7, HTC One M8 and Moto X.

But these Android 4.4.3 KitKat release rumors should still be taken with a grain of salt as none of these reports have been confirmed or denied yet.
