Group EXO's 'Overdose' Ranks In Top 50 On 11 Countries iTunes Charts

Idol group EXO has been getting a lot of attention for their new song.

On May 7, EXO-K's mini album title song, "Overdose" was seen on the iTunes Main Single Chart 'Top 50' in 11 countries.

"Overdose" was ranked number 1 in Singapore, number 2 in Hong Kong, 4th in Thailand, 8th in Indonesia and 9th in Malaysia.

Also, they were 16th in Japan, 18th in Taiwan, 27th in the Philippines, 28th in Sweden, 40th in Ecuador and 42nd in Norway.

Their other songs, "Thunder" and "Moonlight" were also seen ranking high on international charts.

EXO-M's "Overdose" was seen on the charts at number 13 in Hong Kong, 20th in Thailand and more.

Once "Overdose" was releaed, the song topped nine real-time music charts in South Korea, including Melon, Bugs,  Naver Music, Daum Music and Soribada. 

"Overdose" is a hip hop and R&B sound dance song that is both charismatic and emotional.

Both the Korean and Chinese versions of the music video for "Overdose" have garnered impressive numbers within its first 24 hours of debuting, according Fuse TV. 

The Korean version reportedly got more than 2.5. million views while the Chinese rendition got about 1.3 million. 

Although the 12 member group has been split into EXO-K and EXO-M, fans will be delighted to know that the two sub-groups unite to sing the chorus for "Overdose" as they showcase incredible group choreography in the video. 

EXO's second EP has been doing so well that preorders for the mini labum have exceeded 650,000 copies, a new record in the K-Pop industry, stated SM Entertainment. 

About 56.5% of the 658,710 pre-ordered copies were Korean editions while the rest were Chinese, according to The Inside Korea. 

The mini album includes five tracks, "Overdose," "Moonlight," "Thunder," "Run," and "Love, Love, Love."

EXO will be making a comeback performance on Mnet "M! Countdown" on May 8.
