iPhone 6 Release Date Tipped Earlier Than Expected, 4.7" Version Gets The Nod In August, 5.5" Apple Phablet To Launch In September

iPhone 6 release date: Apple's upcoming iPhone has already been in the news in the past months. And to think that no official word has come out of the Cupertino company yet, it only means a lot of people are still betting on Apple for its new and reportedly bigger smartphone.

And it looks like even Apple cannot wait in unveiling its high-end smartphone version for this year.

According to a report by GSM Arena, several sources from Taiwan said that the iPhone 6 would be released earlier than expected. In previous years, Apple has launched its new iPhones during a September event within the company's backyard.

However, this year could be different as Apple is preparing the launch of two new iPhones.

Last year, one of the top mobile phone makers in the world released the high-end iPhone 5s and midrange iPhone 5c at the same time, and the results were so ugly that several retailers are now offering the plastic-covered smartphone in mouthwatering deals.

In order to prevent such situation from happening again, Apple is rumored to release two iPhone editions at different periods. According to the sources, the 4.7-inch display iPhone 6 would arrive in August, while the iPhone phablet launches in September.

This way, people would be able to weigh their options better. No more panic buying and uninformed choices. So what are we expecting from Apple's newest smartphone?

Some specs include a sapphire covered display, a new A8 chipset that supports 64-bit applications, a better Touch ID sensor, and a new version of iOS, which would most likely be unveiled at the WWDC event in June.

While most Apple fans did not see this coming, some Android fans who have been planning to switch to iOS would get the perfect reason to do so. Still, the Cupertino needs to do a great job in pricing the device, and one wrong move can spell the future for this new iPhone.
