Upcoming Motorola Phones 2014: Specs Of Moto E Detailed, Affordable Handset Spotted In Leaked Images, To Launch Tomorrow

Upcoming Motorola phones 2014: The Moto G is considered as the top selling Motorola handset in a long while, and that is due to its decent specs and a very affordable price tag. And now, it looks like the Lenovo-owned company will be unveiling its Moto E smartphone sooner than expected.

According to a report by GSM Arena, Indian retailer Flipkart has recently spilled the beans regarding the Moto E release date, and during the weekend, it announced that the new Android smartphone would arrive in the next four days.

That day would be May 14, though the smartphone would be officially launched a day earlier, May 13.

So what's so special about this smartphone aside from the pricing? Previous rumors point to at least $120 for the Motorola smartphone.

In the report, leaked images of the device made the rounds all over the Web, showcasing the design of the phone. The Moto E would be available in three colors during its launch - black, turquose and lemon yellow.

In the press images of the Android phone, there would be a slight curved back cover which would feel great when held even with one hand. While there is nothing spectacular with the screen size nor the bezels, the actual bang for the buck lies within.

The Moto E is confirmed to sport a 4.3-inch scratch-resistant display, a Snapdragon chipset of unknown variant (probably 400), 1GB of RAM, a dual-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, and a 5 megapixel camera at the back.

Other specs include a 4GB built-in memory with a microSD card slot that can support up to 32GB of expanded storage. The phone is powered by a 1,980mAh battery, and Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat out of the box.

The Motorola Moto E official launch would be on May 13 in an event in London, and as we now know, it would be available in some markets just a day later.
