Moto G Specs Improved As LTE And MicroSD Edition Gets Announced, Arriving By The End Of The Month, Priced At $219

Moto G specs: The Motorola Moto G is one of the best selling Motorola phones in a long time, but even in its success a lot of people were still expecting more from the Android-powered handset.

Two of these features are a microSD card slot and 4G LTE connectivity - just these two and the Moto G would be a perfect midranger.

During Motorola's press event earlier today, the company unveiled an improved version of its handset, with better Moto G specs.

Now, the quality midranger becomes better with its microSD card slot that can support up to 32GB of memory, and 4G LTE connectivity for faster browsing speeds.

In addition to the new improved Moto G specs, the smartphone still packs the same quad-core CPU running at 1.2GHz, a Snapdragon 400 chipset, 4.5-inch display with HD (1280 x 720) resolution, 1GB of RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box.

There also lies a 5MP primary camera at the back accompanied by an LED flash, the usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS, and a decent 2070mAh battery.

In the report, the Moto G LTE will be available by the end of the month in the UK at around £149 for the 8GB version. That price translates to about $219 in the US. The original Moto G costs around £135 in the UK and about $179 in the US.

Considering the huge bump in specs (LTE and microSD slot support), the slight price difference is certainly understandable, though a several dollars more beyond that would not be good for the Moto G's image.

Alongside the Moto G LTE is the Moto E handset, which is considered to be the Moto G's successor. The Android-powered handset packs a 4.3-inch display, dual-core CPU, Snapdragon 400, 1GB RAM, a 5MP primary camera, microSD card slot, and Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out of the box.
