Upcoming Windows Phones 2014: The ZTE Nubia W5 Could Be The Top WP-Powered Handset, Specs Incl. Snapdragon 801, 3GB RAM, 13MP Shooter, Gigantic 4,500mAh Battery

Upcoming Windows phones 2014: Let us all admit it - the new version of Microsoft's mobile platform, Windows Phone 8.1 is probably the best the company has launched so far. And as a result, a lot of fans - both from iOS and Android - are curious in trying this platform out.

That is also probably the only reason anyone would try a Windows Phone-powered device.

However, Chinese manufacturer ZTE has other things in mind.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the company's very first Windows Phone handset has been spotted online and from the image, we know that it would certainly be a looker among WP fans.

The smartphone is surprisingly thin, including the bezels in front, and the famous Nubia branding is located at the lower back.

Dubbed as the ZTE Nubia W5, this WP smartphone has not been announced yet, but from the look of this image, it could be the real thing, or rightfully so a press image.

However, the good things do not end outside. In the report by GSM Arena, the smartphone packs monster specs as far as the Windows Phone 8.1 platform is concerned.

While we do not see any details related to the screen or display, we assume that it would get at least 5 inches of screen estate with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. However, the rumored spec sheet included a high-end Snapdragon 801 chipset, 3GB of RAM, a 13MP primary camera, a 64GB built-in memory, and a whopping 4,500mAh battery.

Could the ZTE Nubia W5 actually be the first non-compromise phone, not only in the Windows Phone fence, but in all the tech world in general?

Any smartphone can get a 3GB of RAM, a big storage, and high-end specs, but most of them fall short in the battery department. With 4,500mAh of battery, we would expect the Nubia W5 to last more than a day of moderate to heavy usage.
