Dong Nguyen took down Flappy Bird from the app stores in February of this year "over claims that the game has ruined it for him," as noted on Latinos Post. Moreover, citing USA today, the report stated that the developer needed to remove it because the game was very addictive, even though it was having exceptionally impressive stats in Apple iTunes and Google Play.
During the USA Today interview back then, Flappy Bird creator said, "'Flappy Bird' has unexpected effects. It causes addiction (in) people. I think it is an unexpected problem ... and I have to remove it,"
As for current updates about the Flappy Bird maker, Dong Nguyen is busy creating games, as tweeted by CNBC's Donna Burton. And one of these games involves a "guy jumping from building to buildings."
