Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 Specs: Samsung has recently announced that their new point-and-shoot android camera the Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 will be given a release date in the recently held Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2014.

In their attempt to put together a smartphone and a very useful camera in one, the new Samsung Galaxy camera will still retain its 16.3-megapixel sensor and 21x optical zoom but will add a bunch of features to clearly distinguish this new one from the 2012 release.

"Consumers love the Galaxy Camera and this next-generation version is designed to improve on the successful predecessor, with upgraded and new features that will enhance the photography experience," Simon Stanford, Vice President of the Samsung UK IM division said.

He added: "The result is a more powerful and portable device, which continues to embrace the public's passion for the social features of smartphones, yet also provides superior image control and quality."

Included in the new version that proves to stand out the most will be a new image processing system that will outstand the previous one that will surely give the users better looking and great quality of photos.

With its introduction to the public next week, the release date in the market for the new Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 is rumored early this year just a few months or maybe even just weeks from now.
