HTC One M8: Flagship Smartphone Getting Gorgeous-Looking Blue And Red Color Versions, Likely To Launch In A Couple Of Days

HTC One M8: HTC is certainly doing everything in order to gain more market share than its other flagship competitors such as the Sony Xperia Z2 and the Samsung Galaxy S5. Sony's bet may be the highest spec'd device among the three, but it is only available in the UK and Japan at the moment.

This means HTC will be up against Samsung and its brand new Galaxy S5 smartphone.

And if Samsung chooses to create a number of versions for its flagship handset such as the Galaxy K Zoom, Galaxy S5 mini and S5 Active, the Taiwanese manufacturer on the other hand opts for more color options. These options would add to the existing color options for the HTC One M8 such as gunmetal grey, glacial silver and amber gold.

In several reports by GSM Arena, a number of leaked images have surfaced showing us a red and blue version of the HTC One M8. Indeed, both editions have exactly the same specifications as the original, but they definitely look gorgeous in the One M8's already sleek design.

The images came from different sources, including the Twitter account of notorious leakster EV Leaks

As we all can see, both the blue and red editions of the HTC One M8 would sport the same aluminum design and brushed metal finish, which is certainly among the phone's top selling points.

In case you have missed the official launch of HTC's flagship device, here are some specs you may want to check. The Android-powered handset packs a 5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 2GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 801 chipset, quad-core CPU clocked at 2.3GHz, and a 16GB built in storage.

There is also the infamous UltraPixel camera, this time with two 4MP sensors. In front is a capable 5MP shooter that is capable of shooting 1080p videos.

There is also a microSD card slot, a non-removable 2,600mAh battery and Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box.

In another report, the blue version has already launched in the UK and available for pre-order at £549.99.
