As Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire excites Game Freak fans everywhere, artists are taking the time to celebrate the occasion with epic fan art.

As Pokemon fans have noticed, the Nintendo 3DS cover art for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire showcases legendary Kyogre and Groudon with new designs.

This is by no means an accident. According to Serebii, The Pokemon Company has confirmed in a company E-mail that the Groudon and Kyogre on the box art are in fact "never before seen Pokemon." The same terminology has been used before the reveal of Kyurem and Mega Mewtwo Y

Thus, fans are taking the time to highlight the epic new legendary designs. For example, check out this epic fan art featuring Brendan and May by Kawacy. You can see the omega symbol in Brendan's eyes, and the alpha symbol in May's.

Meanwhile, the most recent episode of the Pokemon variety show "Get TV" discussed the upcoming Pokemon movie and its distributions events.

Currently, Pokemon fans can obtain a Darkrai in Japan by pre-ordering tickets to "Diancie & the Cocoon of Destruction." Reportedly, the Darkrai is at level 50 and has the moves Dark Void, Dark Pulse, Phantom Force, and Dream Eater.

This distribution event will run from April 19 to September 30.

In addition, the yet unrevealed Diancie will also be distributed during the Pokemon X and Y movie. The event will open from the premiere date of the movie (July 19) to September 30.
