Transistor Release Date Slated For May 20; Launch Trailer For PS4 And PC Game Available [WATCH]; Specs For PC Revealed!

The official "Transistor" release date is happening this week!

Transistor release date is already set for May 20, and few days before the game arrives, a launch trailer for the sci-fi-themed role-playing game was revealed by the developer, Supergiant Games.

As posted on IGN, below is the game synopsis for the PS4 and PC game, Transistor:

"In Transistor, players assume the role of a young woman who gains control of a powerful weapon after a mysterious group of assailants nearly kills her with it. Now she must fight from street to street against forces that will stop at nothing to recover the weapon. During the course of the adventure, players will piece together the Transistor's mysteries as they pursue its former owners."

Moreover, as posted on IncGamers.com, below are the minimum specs for those who will get the game on PC:

OS: Windows 7 or newer

CPU: 2.6GHz Dual Core CPU or greater

RAM: 4GB or greater

GPU: 1GB Video RAM or greater, e.g. Intel HD Graphics 3000, Nvidia 9400 GT, AMD HD 5450

Hard Drive Space: 4GB free

Also, since the PC version will need Steam to run, below are the Steam-related features to experience:

With only a day left before the Transistor release date, interested gamers can still pre-order the PS4 and PC versions of the game for $19.99. The PC edition for Transistor is now available via Steam.
