Nokia Lumia 630 Release Date In UK Is On May 29, Dual-SIM WP 8.1 Smartphone Costs Under £90

Nokia Lumia 630 release date: After waiting for more than two months, the newly announced Windows Powered handset will hit the UK market on May 29.

Ever since Microsoft's BUILD conference in March, a lot of people have set their eyes on Nokia's two new handsets, the Lumia 630 and Lumia 930. While the Lumia 930 has not been announced and no further details have been made available just yet, the Lumia 630 is already getting its fair share of attention.

And by the end of the month, Nokia fans and Windows Phone enthusiasts in the United Kingdom would finally get the device.

If you are on a tight budget, you may be more than pleased to know that the pricing for the Nokia Lumia 630 will start at only £89.95 or just $151. While the smartphone in itself is not that remarkable, it is the new Windows Phone version, 8.1 that deserves more attention.

During the BUILD conference, the Windows Phone 8.1 has been detailed, with its new notification center, more customization options for users, and the anticipated Cortana voice assistant.

The Lumia 630 also has its fair share of decent specs which include a 4.5-inch FWVGA ClearBlack IPS LCD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory with option for microSD card expansion, and a 5MP primary camera.

For the past years, it has also been proven that midrange Windows Phone powered devices perform better than midrange Android handsets. So while the 512MB RAM seem a bit disappointing if you are coming from Android, you would actually be surprised that it runs as smooth, if not smoother than the Android interface.

As for the flagship, the Nokia Lumia 930, we expect the device to be announced or leaked in the coming weeks after the Lumia 630 hype dies down.
