Child Of Light PS Vita Release Date Confirmed For July 1 For $15; Retail Complete Edition With Bonus Quest, Character And Collectibles Hitting The Shelves!

The turn-based role-playing game, "Child of Light" gets a PS Vita release date.

Yesterday, Ubisoft Montreal announced that Child of Light PS Vita release date will happen on July 1. Following the successful market launch of The Child of Light on PS4 and PS3, the game publisher revealed that a PS Vita version will arrive in the US and in Europe.

Particularly, US gamers can purchase Child of Light PS Vita version starting on the first day of July. Meanwhile, the Child of Light PS Vita release date for Europe is on July 2.

Apart from the Child of Light PS Vita release date, the game developer did not mention any details about certain features for the Child Of Light PS Vita version. And because of this, We Got This Covered website noted that "it's assumed that this new version will essentially be a straight port, albeit one that will surely utilize the device's touchscreen capabilities."

As described on Polygon, Child of Light is "Set in the world of Lemuria and "inspired by the watercolor artworks of The Golden Age of Illustration."

Furthermore, the game "blends elements from Japanese role-playing games like turn-based combat with reimagined fairy tales. Its art style is a product of the UbiArt Framework, which also powers games like Rayman Legends and Rayman Origins with concept art."

Once the Child of Light PS Vita arrives, interested gamers can purchase the digital version of the game for £11.99/$14.99, according to PlayStation Lifestyle. Also, a Retail Complete Edition, which seems to be only for European market, will be available during the Child of Light PS Vita release date. The box edition for Child of Light is expected to arrive with a bonus quest, a pack of collectibles and a new character.
