ZTE Nubia X6 Sells Out In 10 Seconds, Customers Eager To Get Their Hands On World's Top Android Phablet

ZTE Nubia X6: We have all heard (or read) about the legendary sales prowess of Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi, which managed to sell 100,000 Redmi Note smartphones in just 34 minutes. That's because the midrange Android device offers decent specs but only costs $161.

Now, another Chinese phone maker made headlines today as it reported that it sold out its Nubia X6 phablet in just 10 seconds, well 9.8 to be exact.

While ZTE did not release any number of smartphones sold which leaves us wondering whether the company only placed 10 units in stock, we are taking the manufacturer's word for it. Right now, we are expecting the total number of 'units sold' to fall within the 1000-unit category, though we would not be surprised if it goes up to 10,000.

So what's so special about the ZTE Nubia X6 that it would get much attention. With a display size measuring a whopping 6.4 inches long, it is certainly more than a handful. Even the gigantic Samsung phablet Galaxy Note 3 looks like a regular smartphone compared to the Nubia X6.

However, the Nubia X6 is not all about the screen size. The high-end Android device also packs some flagship level specs such as a Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a quad-core CPU, 3GB of RAM, and a Snapdragon 801 chipset.

Also on board are several built-in storage options such as 32, 64 and 128GB of memory There are also two (yes two) 13 megapixel shooters, one in front and another at the back for top-notch quality images both in regular shots and selfies.

And if you think ZTE is done yet, you are mistaken. Consumers can enjoy all of these juicy specs under a metal-clad body with a gorgeous design that can be at par with the best in the market.

The ZTE Nubia X6 will be officially available in the market on May 27 at CNY 2,999 or just $481.
