SM Entertainment Lee Soo Man Ranks in Japan Oricon Hit Ranking Producer 'Top 10' for 3 Years In A Row

Founding chairman of SM Entertainmnet, Lee Soo Man, has brought so many various K-Pop groups into this world, and he has recently been rewarded for it.

Producer Lee Soo Man ranked in the top 10 for Japan Oricon's Yearly Hit Ranking Producer for 3 years in a row.

The K-Pop genius has always been in the top 10 for the Oricon Yearly Hit Ranking Producer TOP 100, which has been released since 2011 in Japan's Original Confidence.

Lee was ranked No. 3 in 2011 and 2012, setting the highest record for an overseas producer.

Although he ranked 6th place in 2013, Lee Soo Man still managed to be the highest ranking producer in Korea and as an overseas producer.

The producer also ranked No. 11 last year in the album category of the list.

The Oricon yearly top ranking producer chart began in Japan in 2008 in an effort to recognize each year's best albums and producers. As the man who produced K-Pop superstars including S.E.S, Shinhwa, Kangta, Fly to the Sky, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, ShiNee, f(x) and EXO, his achievements have become widely appreciated both in Korea and internationally.

Lee Soo Man started out as a singer while attending Seoul National University back in 1972, which led him to co-found SM Entertainment in 1989.

SM Entertainment has since become the largest record label in South Korea, due to the success of its various K-Pop artists.

Lee Soo Man has been getting the love of idol members as well.

Tao, a member of EXO-M, recently uploaded an Instagram photo of himself drinking champagne with producer Lee Soo Man at the after-party following EXO's first solo concert from May 23-25 in Seoul, according to the Korea Herald.

"Love you boss. Thank you for having raised EXO. Love you," wrote Tao in the caption.
