The last week of May is here and the stars who made their comeback were male group VIXX and T-ara's Jiyeon. Unfortunately, T-ara's Jiyeon did not get placed on our top ten chart for this week. Maybe, she will next week. Finally, Baek Ji Young has a new single that is titled, "Still In Love." Without Jiyeon, where does VIXX and Baek Ji Young rank this week and who is number one?

The Beautiful and Talented IU Ranks #1 This Week

South Korea's young princess idol IU ranks number one this week for her new single, "My Old Story." IU is receiving many love from her fans because the remake eighties hit single by veteran singer Cho Deok Bae is one that the people cannot stop listening. The lyrics for "My Old Story" is about IU waiting for her lover; despite all the mistakes that he has done in the past. IU's lover is actor Choi Woo Shik. On the music video, Choi weeps while he hears IU's voice on the radio. Her single has a sweet and classical melody that fans definitely enjoy listening.

With a nice storyline message, it is no surprise why IU's single is ranked number one on various music charts in South Korea; which are Instiz, Melon, Mnet, Bugs, Soribada, Olleh Music, Genie, Naver, Daum, and Monkey3. IU is currently holding her first day of solo concerts which is titled, 'Only One Step..of Many More;' which the venue is Sogang University Hall. IU will perform this week on May 29 - June 1, 2014. Will IU rank number one next week is the question because other stars are making their return this week and next month. For now, the beautiful miss IU is your number artist for this week.

Number 2: EXO-K; "Overdose"

EXO-K ranks number two this week as their new single is receiving an "Overdose" of love from the fans. The guys just recently wrapped up their first solo concert in Seoul, South Korea last Sunday. They will travel to Hong Kong and perform two concerts on June 1st and 2nd.

Number 3: JungGiGo; "Want U"

The new rising star JungGiGo ranks number three this week for his single, "Want U." Being the Justin Timberlake of South Korea, JungGiGo is making women swoon as he sings with his awesome voice. JungGiGo is being nominated on the music shows and is so close to winning a first place trophy. Can he win this week? You will just to wait for the performance recaps.

Number 4: IU; "Meaning Of You"

IU has another single that ranks on our chart for the week. Her single "Meaning of You," ranks number four this week. The music video shows IU and Kim Chang Wan showing their great chemistry as they record at the studio. With a thirty year gap between the two, both were laughing and having fun while recording. This song is beautiful and nicely sung. The message of the single is about a person finding out the meaning of someone.

Number 5: Wheesung; "Night and Day"

Wheesung's new single "Night and Day" ranks number five this week. The message is about him being the knight and shining armor; which he will do anything to protect his woman. Wheesung is also getting nominated on the music shows each week. Though, his single is just not getting enough votes from his fans. Hopefully, this week he will. After being on hiatus for two weeks and seven months, his single is one that people are enjoying. His single is produced by Kim Dong Hoon and Lee Sang Ho; Wheesung wrote the lyrics. Featured in the music video are TEEN TOP's C.A.P and Girl's Day Yura.

Number 6: Fly To The Sky; "You You You"

Male duo group Fly To The Sky ranks number six this week for their new single, "You You You." The track "You You You," is composed and written by Lee Sang In and features an R&B style. The message of their single is about how a man cannot forget about his lover. The music video has a great storyline because it is like watching a Korean drama.

Number 7: Baek Ji Young; "Still In Love"

Baek Ji Young released a new single titled, Still In Love." Her single ranks number seven this week. The guy who is in the music video is actor Yeo Jin Goo as he did a great job. The song is about Yeo Jin Goo being in love with a woman that he cannot forget. Yeo thinks about her and the memories are always in his mind. Baek Ji Young said, "Yeo Jin Goo is young but the way he focuses on his acting without losing his concentration is unbelievable. I really send all my applause to his passionate acting. I'm so thankful that such a great actor decided to act for my music video."

Number 8: VIXX; "Eternity"

VIXX who are comprised of members N, Leo, Ken, Ravi, Hongbin, and Hyuk are back with a new single titled, "Eternity." Their single ranks number eight this week. The message of their song is about how each of the guys are in love with a woman. What they realize in the end is that it is all a dream and a moment of "Eternity." Their dance and chorus is very powerful and one that will get you hooked instantly. The balance of the sweet sound is heard from the beginning until end of their music video. Jellyfish described VIXX's music video as, "strong and sophisticated visual beauty... finished by the steampunk art visual and a fancy CG." Be sure to support the guys as they initiate promotion of "Eternity" on the major music shows this week. They kick off first this Thursday on 'M! Countdown.'

Number 9: IU; "When Love Passes"

IU has her third single from her album titled, 'Flower Bookmark' ranked this week. Her other single, When Love Passes," ranks number nine. On May 15th, IU revealed teaser clips that features singer Kim Wan Sun, who is the original singer for IU's track. IU sings this song so that the young generation will enjoy the classic singles in the past. Also, she makes the older generation reminisce about the songs sung in the past.

Number 10: Secret's Hyosung; "Good-Night Kiss"

Secret's Hyosung is ranked number ten this week for her new single, "Good-Night Kiss." Hyosung is proving that she can promote solo by releasing a great single. Check out her performance from last Sunday on SBS 'Inkigayo' (May 25, 2014).
