NHL Stanley Cup Schedule: L.A. Vs New York Makes For Marquee Matchup With Two Teams That Played 41 Games To Get Here

NHL Stanley Cup schedule: It is now official that it will be L.A. vs New York in the Stanley Cup final featuring the two most well-known cities in the United States.

It has turned into somewhat two underdog, cinderella stories with the Rangers not expected to make it out of the Eastern Conference, but they did and it took 20 games to do so. Meanwhile the NHL Stanley Cup schedule will feature another team that actually played 21 games, winning three game 7s on the road.

It is a best-of-seven Stanley Cup finals and both teams have the experience of game 7s just in case this NHL playoff final goes deep, which wouldn't surprising. No team has done what both teams have accomplished to get to the Stanley Cup finals.

The Rangers won two game 7s and won the Eastern Conference final, which had never been done. The Kings were down 3-0 in the first round and came back to win the series. Then they won two more game 7s on the road to survie the Western Conference portion of the playoff.
