Cobra AirWave Mini Review, Deals: Bluetooth Speaker W/ Rugged Look On Sale For $39.95, Review Says Quality Disappointing

Cobra Airwave Mini review, deals: The Bluetooth speaker made by a manufacturer known for its radar detectors features a rugged look and is now on sale from $49.95 to $39.95.

According to a review by PhoneArena, the Cobra AirWave Mini is an “ultra-compact speaker that has a sprinkling of ruggedness attached to its construction.” Though the unit is affordable and looks well made, the gadget review site noted that its quality is disappointing.

PhoneArena said that the volume output is enough to occupy a small space, but not to fill a room. Aside from the weak output coming from the speakers, the quality is distorted and lacks clarity. Overall, the entire thing comes out flat.

In terms of build, the Cobta AirWave Mini has a rubberized exterior. The cylindrical shaped speaker sports a rugged aspect to its design. It claims to be shock, dust and water-resistant. On one end, it has a speaker grill, which shows the Cobra logo. On the other end, there are buttons for its power and volume controls, which shows a protective microUSB port. The Cobra AirWave Mini also has a microphone and opening on the speaker that allows users to tether it to something.

The AirWave Mini is the smallest of the Cobra AirWave series and the most lightweight Bluetooth speaker created by the company. The unit is something that doesn’t occupy a whole lot of space, making it super easy to travel.

“The AirWave Mini is our most lightweight Bluetooth speaker created by Cobra,” said Sally Washlow, president of Cobra Electronics.

“Cobra has continued to expand product innovation in its line of lifestyle offerings, and the AirWave Mini is a great companion for our active consumers who are looking for a portable speaker solution to play music while on daily commutes, out on the trails, or during practically any outing.”
