Must See K-Pop Idol TV For June 2014

Recently single Ji Hyun Woo stars opposite A Pink's Eun Ji in the drama that is already promising to be one of the cutest romances for summer 2014, “Trot Lovers”. The drama which is also known as “Lovers of Music” or “Lovers of Trot”, stars Eun Ji as Choi Choon Hee, a self-sufficient woman who is enraptured with trot.

Ji Hyun Woo portrays Jang Joon Hyun, a man who despises trot and whose musical tastes differ from Choon Hee. Inevitably, Joon Hyun and Choon Hee put aside their differences to fall in love.

Shin Sung Rok of "My Love From The Stars" and So Ho Joon help to round out the cast of "Trot Lovers".

Trot, which is recognized as the oldest form of Korean pop music, has been regaining popularity amongst younger K-Pop artists. “Trot Lovers” will most likely help to reignite the passion within viewers for trot.

“Trot Lovers” will premier on June 23 on KBS2 in the Monday-Tuesday 21:55 time slot, which is currently occupied by “Big Man”.

INFINITE members Woo Hyun and Sung Yeol are set to head up the cast of the upcoming Friday night KBS2 drama which is tentatively titled “High School:Love On”.

Woo Hyun will portray the detached but goodhearted Shin Woo Hyun, whose attitude is derived from being abandoned by his parents. Woo Hyun is attractive and has an excellent singing voice, aiding his popularity in school.

Woo Hyun develops a deeper meaning of love upon meeting Lee Seul Bi, an angel who is portrayed by actress Kim Sae Ron. The delightfully innocent countenance of Kim Sae Ron lends itself to the character and shows promise for the casting of “High School:Love On”.

Sung Yeol is Hwang Sung Yeol, the main rival of Woo Hyun, whose strong traits are athleticism and intellect.

While 2014 has been dominated by melodrama and medical dramas, “High School:Love On” has the potential to be a refreshing take on the fantasy genre.

“High School:Love” is slated for twenty episodes and will air on Fridays in the 20:55 time slot beginning June 27.

“Cover Girls” starring sisters Krystal and Jessica tops the must see TV list for variety programs in June. “Cover Girls” provides an unprecedented look at the lives of Girls' Generation Jessica and f(x) Krystal.

In the reality program, the sisters display genuine affection for one another, while also displaying some of the stress that is experienced by K-Pop idols. “Cover Girls” is slated for ten episodes.

In a street scene from the June 3 episode of “Cover Girls”, the sisters show some wariness towards the crowds of on-lookers. However, it is clear that their sisterhood helps to provide stability in the world of Korean entertainment.

“Cover Girls” began airing on June 3 and will be on OnStyle in the 23:00 time slot.
