BTOB held their very first showcase 'BTOB Live in Jakarta' in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel of Jakarta on June 21.
A representative of Cube Entertainment said, "The showcase location was already heated up in the morning with fans waiting near the venue. The fans were holding up placards written in Korean and were singing along to BTOB's songs."
BTOB held an interview with major local media outlets in Indonesia before the showcase. The interview brought in many music critics and expert journalists. The media outlets evaluated BTOB as 'soon to be popular in Indonesia just three months since their debut' and 'band that can mature to perform in various genres.'
The first showcase of BTOB received a passionate response from 350 fans that were chosen to attend the showcase through a lottery. The group drove the fans wild by performing debut single "Secret" in the opening. The boys also invited seven fans selected beforehand onstage to personally teach them the choreography before performing couple dances.
BTOB expressed, "We realize on every stage that we can say what we want solely through music and dance. This is our first visit in Indonesia, but we gained strength by the cheers from fans as hot as the weather. We wish to hold a concert with more fans soon."
BTOB is planning to return to Korea on June 23 after finishing up various promotional activities in Indonesia.
