The filming of 'Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice' Continues  and one of the inside scoops is that they will shoot Lexcorp, the company that Lex Luthor owns.

Some inside information was leaked on batman-news.com about the overall vibe of the company:

"A source close to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has informed me that production is heading to LexCorp next week. In Zack Snyder's Man of Steel sequel, LexCorp is described as a young, edgy company. Think of it as a .com or Google type workplace. It's a smart company with a stylish vibe, a youthful clash of rock and roll, preppy, and nerdy employees. Hipsters!"

While it is understood that the movie is being reinvented to reflect the current times, most critics are not sold with the idea. From Moviepilot:

"They might list Google, but this is Jesse Eisenberg playing Luthor, after all. If there's one company that the filmmakers are targeting for satire, it seems likely to be theone that indirectly made Eisenberg famous in The Social Network - Facebook."

The ghost of Eisenberg movies past rears its ugly head on the movie again. They are not really giving it a chance.

"People may differ but a "Mark Zuckerberg" type Luthor just doesn't seem intimidating to me. Also I have a feeling they are going to keep Luthor around for a while and not really complete his story but drag on for multiple movies."

The clamor for a more ruthless Lex Luthor who would stop at nothing just to defeat Superman and pursue his plans for world domination just does not resonate with Eisenberg. As of this writing, Luthor is still tagged as the central villain in the movie. Eisenberg may not have the presence to precipitate any urgency on the heroes' part.

Fans have no choice as the casting has been made. Director Zack Snyder needs to bring out all his mojo to make a badass Luthor out of the former fictional Facebook founder. Find out if he succeeds on May 6. 2016.
