2014 NBA Free Agency Rumors & Predictions: Chicago Bulls Have Made Best Offer For Kevin Love! Boston Celtics Out Of Love Race?

No round up of the 2014 NBA Free Agency Rumors & Predictions would be complete without an update of Kevin Love trade rumors. Apparently, a solid frontrunner has emerged.

A frustrated Boston Celtics writer reported, with a sigh of resignation that the Bulls have already made their blockbuster offer. The Bulls, according to report are going all in. Perhaps they don't want to be left out in the cold like the Golden State Warriors who have declared Klay Thompson as a deal breaker. Chicago is not pulling any punches.

From ESPN Boston: "The Timberwolves privately maintain they already have fielded better offers from other teams, among them the Chicago Bulls, who can offer draft picks and some combination ofJimmy Butler and  Taj Gibson along with Carlos Boozer, whose bloated $16.8 million contract expires next summer and represents the kind of cap space rebuilding teams crave.

If you are Kevin Love and can choose to join a team with top dogs Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah or Rondo and Jeff Green, which way are you leaning?

Remember, there's still no guarantee Rondo is sticking around for any of this. He does not want to languish with a young rebuilding team in the prime of his career. Can't say I blame him. He wants to play in a big market, which limits trade destinations for Boston, and he wants a max deal. He has not given the Celtics any guarantees he's in for the long haul."

That's basically all the assets that Bulls have accumulated. Chicago would also take a bad contract from Minnesota to make salaries match. Also, it was reported that the Bulls are also willing to deal the rights to Nikola Mirotic, the top European player.

The only way for the Celtics to match that is for them to include Rondo in the deal. But what would the T-Wolves do with Rubio and Rondo-two good point guards with bad shooting? Also, Love won't play in Boston without Rondo there.

It might seem like the Bulls would give too much, but if they get to trade Boozer as opposed to amnestying him, that's already a win.
