"Prometheus 2" rumors point to the sequel featuring an "Alien" vs. "Blade Runner" story plot centering on a David 8 developed by Weyland Corp. Meanwhile, director Ridley Scott's Xbox's "Halo" is set for November release.

According to the MoviePilot, Ridley Scott has placed a lot of Easter eggs on the first "Prometheus," from matching interfaces of the "Alien" spaceship and the cars on "Blade Runner" to Weyland (played by Guy Pierce) referencing about Tyrell being his competitor who lived in a "pyramid overlooking a city of angels."

"Perhaps the Blade Runner chases a David 8 (Michael Fassbender) to whatever planet he and Elizabeth are going to," the website said, pointing to the "Prometheus 2" rumors. "While the Blade Runner is hunting David 8 he could get caught up in a battle with the Xenomorphs."

News outlets, blogs and online community have been reporting "Prometheus 2" rumors but for now Ridley Scott is still mum on the filming of the sequel. However, Michael Fassbender did confirm there's going to be a sequel.

During the junket for "X-Men: Days of Future Past," "Prometheus 2" cast Michael Fassbender confirmed the sequel for the 2012 thriller. As to the question of when they will begin production, he simply doesn't know.

When asked by Collider about the prospect of working with "Prometheus 2" director Ridley Scott, he beamed, "For sure. I love Ridley, he's a master filmmaker."

Meanwhile, Microsoft announced during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) that the Ridley Scott-produced "Halo: Nightfall" is scheduled for a November 11 release date.

According to TubeFilter, "Halo: Nightfall" is being co-produced by Scott Free TV along with 343 Industries and is meant to connect the past with the future.

"Nightfall will be packaged as part of a collection that will include all four previously-released Halo games," Bonnie Ross, 343 Industries GM, said. "The digital feature is meant to bridge the gap between past Halo installments, which feature Master Chief as their protagonist, and Halo 5, which will feature a new hero."
