Bourne Movie 5 Cast Jeremy Renner To Leave The Franchise Following Rumors Of Him Taking Over ‘Mission Impossible 5’ Film?

Bourne movie 5 cast Jeremy Renner has announced that he'll be returning for the planned Mission Impossible 5 sequel.

During an interview with Yahoo, The Avengers Age of Ultron star confirmed his involvement with M:I5 saying:

"It's kind of unlikely. In fact, I'm kind of strapped time-wise doing Avengers 2, and Mission: Impossible 5 is rearing its head, and then they want to do another Bourne movie. It's unlikely I can find the time right now. And that's all right. It's just really high-class problems - pretty awesome to have. Even if I really wanted to do it, which I don't, I couldn't." (talking about potentially appearing in True Detective)

Despite Renner's claims to be doing the Bourne Movie 5 talks about him taking over the "Mission Impossible 5" soon rises, thus gaining speculation that he'll be leaving the Bourne franchise.

Hopes for Matt Damon reprising his role on the Bourne franchise is actively circulating the net and this could be the chance for that hope to finally turn into a reality.

Even "Bourne" producer Frank Marshall dreams of having a "Bourne" film that stars both Jeremy Renner and Matt Damon in it.

During his interview at Comic-Con for the film "Elysium" last year Damon suggested that he wants to do another "Bourne" movie saying, "Look, I've been interested in doing another one for five years. We just can't figure out the script. I'm up for it, but again it's all about the script, It's got to be a good one."

"I really want to do another one and I think Paul Greengrass does too," he claims, "But I think it's the same question we've had after each one. If we really feel we can do it and that it will deserve to live with the other three that we did. If we can make one where we go into it feeling it can be even better than those, and it ends up being in that same ballpark, then we should do it. But If we can't, then we really should leave it alone."

Bourne movie 5 release date has been set to hit the theaters on Aug. 14, 2015. Deadline confirmed the news that 'Avengers Age of Ultron' star Jeremy Renner would be back to reprise his role as Aaron Cross, meaning it will not follow the story of Robert Ludlum hero Jason Bourne.

And in the latest development of the planned project Andrew Baldwin (Logan's Run) has signed on to replace Anthony Peckham (Sherlock Holmes) to pen the script for the film.
