Guardians Of The Galaxy Trailer & TV Spot Available Here! New Video Footage Features Major Significant Plot Details

Guardians of the Galaxy TV spot has finally been released following the release of two amazingly galactic trailer.

"So here we are. A thief, two thugs, an assassin and a maniac."

The brand new TV spot admittedly is just a remix of the previous trailers however; there are a couple of significant new parts. For instance, Glenn Close’s character Nova Prime Rael seemed to have changed her tone towards the guardians unlike the previous trailer where she seemed untrusting of the movie’s titular characters.

"Our world is facing an unstoppable threat. Send in the Guardians," she announces at the start of the footage.

Perhaps the more important and eye-catching part, however, is the new response to Korath The Pursuer’s inquisitive "Who are you?" when meeting Star-Lord. The brand new footage features battle-scarred Peter Quill as he pronounces his team’s title instead of a more personal introduction to his character.

Meanwhile, Guardians of the Galaxy cast "Goonies" star Josh Brolin to play the villain Thanos as confirmed by the sources of Variety.

Thanos previously appeared in the post-credits scene in "The Avengers." He is also expected to appear in both the upcoming "Avengers" sequels as a major villain.

"We're definitely tied to 'Avengers 3,'" director James Gunn recently revealed of the upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy," which hits theaters Aug. 1.

Meanwhile, Guardians of the Galaxy movie is just around the corner and Disney's boss Bob Iger is already excited about the future of the film and its characters.

ComicBookMovie.com reported that Chairperson Bob Iger was really optimistic about the future of Marvel during a conference call with Disney shareholders.

According to the publication, Iger even warned competitors that "Guardians Of The Galaxy" is set to help the studio sky rocket to a new level.

"This August 1st, we're looking forward to introducing the world to more fantastic Marvel storytelling," Iger stated, "with a great cast of new characters in 'Guardians of the Galaxy', which we screened last week and we believe it has strong franchise potential."

Disney's chairman added that the recent screening of the film was a rather huge success and it will certainly add to the studio's box office hit movies including "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and "Thor: The Dark World."

"Guardians Of The Galaxy" cast will definitely bring Marvel into an entirely new realm as it is focused on the different galaxies from space unlike previous Marvel superhero films.

"That's a whole other Marvel realm or universe in terms of where it takes place," Iger explained, "the characters that populate it and the stories that you can tell for those characters. So, I think, I'm not going to predict that we've got another Avengers on our hands, but that's certainly the goal."

Despite Iger's positive views, it is almost impossible for "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie to reach Avengers, Thor or Captain America's success in the box office but, it can in the future films judging by Marvel's Cinematic Universe.

Meanwhile, "Guardians of the Galaxy" cast Chris Pratt who plays Star-Lord a human who is fond of stealing high-valuable artifacts and fooling around with as many alien women as he can, expresses his hopes in reprising his role for more Marvel Cinematic Universe's films.

"I hope people really like it, and I hope I get to play that character for a very long time," Pratt admitted to MTV's Josh Horowitz at the Movie Awards. "I think Marvel's been very smart about projecting into the future and what they're putting on their slate. It's based on what people like, so we'll put this movie out there and see how people react to it. Who knows?"
