Vin Diesel Quitting ‘Fast And Furious 7’ Delay Caused By Actor? ‘Depressed’ Dominic Toretto Locks Himself In Trailer All Day! Does He Want Out?

Vin Diesel is one of the most well-liked people on Facebook. With his 78 million likes, that's bigger than the population of half the world's countries.

Part of this popularity was because of his iconic role in the tentpole franchise, "Fast And Furious." His return to the series on the fourth installment basically resurrected the franchise-and it also helped him return to blockbuster status after some of his failures.

We all know that "Fast and Furious 7" had a tragic turn with Paul Walker's death. All the members of the cast were affected, and were very open with expressing their sorrow and grief. Admittedly, Diesel was probably the closest to the late actor, being with him from the start. Still, it is rather uncharacteristic of the "Riddick" actor as he has always promoted positivity on his Facebook page.

A disturbing report from The Hollywood Reporter shows that actor is not getting it all together:

"'Vin spent a whole day in his trailer one day,' says one insider. 'The next day, they waited four hours for him. He called a meeting [May 28] of studio execs to his trailer for two-and-a-half hours to say, 'What the f- am I doing here?'  The next day, work was done with doubles. Another source confirms that progress has been frustrating, with the crew suffering from 'low morale.'"

While those claims are from an unnamed source, no less that Universal Pictures Chairman Donna Langley stood up for the beleaguered star and the crew in general:

"This production is working through some challenges that are historically unprecedented. The crew and cast, led by Vin, have been nothing but terrific under these circumstances."

Does Vin Diesel want to leave the "Fast and Furious" franchise? They have often shared set photos together and called themselves family. What went wrong? Aside from Walker's death there was also a directorial change from Justin Lin to James Wan. Is that a factor-or does Diesel simply want to move on?
