‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice' Cast: Jason Momoa Confirmed As Aquaman Despite Stern Denials! Warner Needs Khal Drogo To Toughen Up ‘Lame’ Super Hero?

The latest "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" Cast Rumor has been confirmed. After very stern denials, Jason Momoa has been confirmed as Aquaman.

The rumor was recently 'resurrected' by Hitfix. In their report, they distinctly remember how Momoa playfully lost his top at a Motor City Comic Con. Momoa was quoted:

"Stop asking me. It's so annoying! I think it started when people said 'What superhero would you play?' And I'd say Batman and Superman, they'd be awesome together. Then people were like, 'He's in Batman vs. Superman!' I'm like, I really like Lobo. 'HE'S LOBO!!' And then some a***ole was like 'He's Aquaman!' And I'm like - what did you just call me? Where the f*ck do you pull out Aquaman? Seriously ... And then it shows up on the Internet. Not that it's a bad rumor."

Now, Hitfix boldly disregarded the threat from the imposing Momoa, whose roles as Khal Drogo in "Game Of Thrones" and Conan The Barbarian would be enough to give a grown man shivers.

"HitFix can confirm that he will be playing the part, and that Zack Snyder has already finalized his designs for the character so shooting can take place soon."

Other sites like IGN has vouched for the report:

"(HitFix reporter) McWeeney -- who is a proven, trusted source -- now says his involvement is a done deal, and that it will, not shockingly, lead to a bigger role in the Justice League film."

Now, Hitfix also had the scoop on how Aquaman will be introduced. Just like Lex Luthor being pissed at Metropolis reduced in shambles after the wanton destruction at the final act of "Man of Steel" the King of Atlantis is peeved:

"Someone else who's not particularly happy about what happened in that film is Aquaman. I'm not sure if that's the actual name they'll use or not, but what we're hearing is that he is not pleased about the World Engine and what it did to the Indian Ocean. He will not have a major role in the film, but he will make an appearance, and it definitely sets him up to return once Snyder gets to 'Justice League.'"

In recent years, Aquaman has been somewhat of a laughing stock. Maxim Magazine even ranked him no.2 in their countdown of the Lamest Superheroes-next only to Robin. DC has reinvented the character to give it a fiercer edge.

Considering that he's supposed to pick a fight with the Man of Steel or the entire Justice League, casting Momoa might be a great move!
